mk1, mk2, mk3 ???

so - it's me - back again with my dum questions ... sm56

ok - now - who could explain me - what is this thing with mk1, mk2, mk3???

wich are the mk1, mk2 etc.???

and mine with the shiney bumper and grill (avatar pic) - to wich "mk" belongs? mark 1????

Not sure on year or all the different bits but basicly the mk1 the bonnet does not go all the way to the front, they you have the mk2 like yours then you have the mk3 where the glass goes all the way to the edge of the tailgate.
There are loads of small differences.

Let's make it confusing :) , there are 3 types mk1.

First type 1976-1977 (licenseplate under the bumper, Daf interior and mirrors)

Seconds type 1978-1980 (license plat on the bumper, Volvo interior)

Third type 1981-1982 (already the new bumpers, as seen on the mk2)

The front bumper is a big give away of Mk2 v Mk3. 2 has indicators on wing, but Mk3 has the indicator in the bumper
