Eurovision 2007

Post by V6 Man » 12 May 2007 11:43 pm

Well tonight was that time of year when Europe gathers to celebrate song, and the Uk takes the piss. A truly awful entry from Serbia managed somehow to win (could've been worse - what if the Irish or French entries had won??). but congratulations to Finland for hosting, providing the best song and the best looking woman in the contest.

Well what a tirade of absolute rubbish, only made watchable by Terry's great commentary as usual.

I actually thought Ireland's entry was quite good, although non of my mates agreed

The winning song wasn't too bad actually, although in the middle I thought they were about to merge into the Titanic song...

Haven't followed at all as they did return to sheep format as predicted, so no surprises in results ;)

Finnish entry is winner of first Finnish Idols show, that decreases my interest even more, more sheep stuff

But where is UK from Ice Hockey? Today Canada vs. Finland, that I might follow, even I usually don't follow ice hockey :P

I only saw the end with the winners singing their song. All I can say is if that won what the hell were the rest of the songs like.

I do not watch TV or listen to eurosongs, i hear everything from others. If i remember correctly ( and i usually don't  ) last time was the group Lordi that won a competition.

Just thought a crap of our band ( i think Flamingos ) that won a first prize in 2005 ( or am i wrong about the years.....i really do not watch this, but i do know that we have awful songs ), their song was really a rubbish !!!

This is not Eurovision, this is EastEuropeVision. And Ireland was my favourite. All the historic Countries are in last positions this years like UK,France,Germany,Spain, NL or Belgium
