That door trim looks slightly incorrect for a mk3 (who's to say if it's wrong enough that it'll not work), but the boot trim looks spot-on! I could do with some of that.
cheers

Yeah, I know what you mean, James about the door seal. The dimensions are good, but the jaws of the section which clips to the door surround look quite open. Probably able to crimp it up a bit because it's got a metal liner.
This one:
Looks more the part, except it's got that long flange hanging off it - which mine certainly doesn't have. If it caused a problem with the door closing it could always be carefully trimmed with a stanley knife I suppose. It's also 1-2mm smaller than my measurements, but then by seal is old and knackered and probably deformed.

I bit the bullet and bought some "No. 180 / Combined Door Seal" and "BS/64 Trunk Weatherstrip" from automobiletrim which came in at about 65 quid delivered.
The door seal fits perfectly and looks original. The boot seal fits OK too but the hatch is a little tight closing. I'm pretty sure it will bed in.
I just need another torrential downpour to see if my car is now leak free, I probably wont have to wait long!

You may need to adjust the catch there Aaron. The line between being so tight it doesn't lock and rattling because it's too loose is a fine one.
cheers

I plan to use ones off another Vehicle, easy enough to alter the length to suit.

Vauxhall Carlton 2.0 16v supercharged
Vauxhall Calibra 3.0 M-V6 - Looks pretty standard, but it isn't
Girlfriends project 340 - Big engine, big wheels and lots of smoothing
