There's a car I used to see out and about that had a number 1 on both front doors, made from strips of Duck tape. Made to smile every time I saw it.

Sad confession to be made, I had a Nissan, oh wait, that is not it, but this Nissan had nasty rust mark on door and car was silver colour, spotless in any other way, of course I duct taped it

Another handyman's (that is not too handy ) tip, if your houses door seal is bad, duct tape the door shut, no more cold wind blowing inside Oh, but exiting house is going to require some work, it is amazing how tight duct tape glues in, had to jump against door several times with full speed to get it open

I just remembered I used duct tape on the very first occasion I actually did some work involving a repair on a car. It was almost two years ago, I just bought my 340 and because it was producing the usual neglected-maintenance-1.4-traffic-light-shake, I opened up the hood and noticed that the stupid plastic defroster pipe had been killed. Duct tape didn't help that much obviously (I discovered some more niggles over the past months), but hey, it was a start.
