Its a buffing compound.
Prop is to get the shine back and to stay back you need to get heat into the paint. So a mahine polisher creates friction as it spins which gives a better finish.
Adam
Machine polisher it is then. Hope hes got one.
This could turn out to be a piece of highly expensive retardation.

If you wet it as a guess it looks perfect yeh? And as for your finger, your finger has enough natural oils in it to temporarily get the shine back.
Try it, go out and use some Tcut on a cloth and rub really hard and quite fast on a small area, trhen buff it back and see what happens. Trust me mate paint is hard as nails. It will be fine.
Adam
Just ordered some on Ebay mate. And some soft cloths. Coz thats where all the problems began!
I'll take pics of progress once royal fail have tormented me for a fortnight/two days - i shall delete as appropriate.
Cheers for the expertise everyone.
Drinks are on me. Again.

if you have scuffed the laquer with water it will leave a white residue
but to remove it from your bumper is simple
just rub it with an ordinary stationay eraser and all should be well
and as everyone else said t cut will take it up
cheers

Hmm, try detailing clay, it can do wonders too and can't really hurt
Sounds like that would cure the problem.

I think its glue and tar remover to clear the sticky mess, then a go with the T-cut that ive already ordered to begin with..........
Cheers for the input dude............................................
hang on, what IS detailing clay?
and what does it do?
Would that go on top of everything at the end?

I doubt claying the car will do what you want (though clay does win). Do as Adam says, the man is speaking much truth and you've ordered the stuff

Cheers chris.
'do as adam says' should be the v3m official motto.
When it comes to vehicular related shenanigans anyway.
