Going down to earth

Post by Nikdev » 24 Mar 2009 02:31 pm

Hello guys... I got a daily driver and its getting as low as possible and still be driveable...

With Dai springs up front and leaf springs that has been lowered 7cm it looks like this:

But It needs to be lower in front!

I will try to keep you updated and share the experience of driving it

SWEEEETTT! That looks the muts nuts.

Saw a similar colour saloon on the way to Brighton today, lowered about the same amount, iomn Minilights, with bucket seat and monster tach on the dash, plus motor bike can on the back sounded lovely and sure went well too.

Anyone on here?

You could always trim a little of each end of the spring. Or do you need more lowering?

I have worked with the arches so the wheel clears (inner lip bent up..) and my 2,5" is as close to the chassi as possible so now can run with the sommer wheels.. On the first pic it was impossible

a couple of cm at front now and Its done :D And yes I can go over speedbumps!

cut the Dai springs a bit, so now its scraping the mudflaps sm4

And it drives real good thancks to Intrax dampers(here compared to stock):
