Re: Snow Thread (again)
I STILL can't get mine off my street. Tight paralel parked between an Astra estate and a Hyun-die Accent.
The street narrow and tall and gets no sun. The ice is about 6in deep and compacted and pollished to Olympic standard.
Every other road is fine.
Mine?
Still fooked.
Might as well be trapped in Narnia.

I had nae bother when I was round. Granted, it's probably worse than it was but there's an easy solution:

Get digging!

Get digging!

Well that's me lost two stone.
Just back in from shovelling the drive and path outside the house.
Well, gotta keep up with the next door neighbour as he cleared his bit

Re: Snow Thread (again)
-1C here, barely, even it is cloudy sun side has around 0C so it looks like spring is coming, until next week, when there is another set of really cold weather, again near -20C temps. Winter has been well cold here, in Southern parth of country winter has been extremely cold.
Here we did not have much more snow than what's usual, but at southern Finland they got some 1-2 foot over typical winter, they were thinking getting help from army at one point, poor bastards (in the army that is)
Last year July was first month that there were no negative temps during night, however negative temps did return already at August, summer at Finland is short and with little snow they say
