looks great, I haven't decided what I want to do yet but it will be as far from the ground as possible, so that will dictate silencer placement

I love your car man, i have just bought a 360 also and im planning on drifting it here in australia and your car is a big inspiration to me, unfortunately there arent alot of aftermarket parts for any volvo here in australia so im gonna have to either get parts from overseas or try and manufacture my own parts.

But i am definately going to drift it, i have already stripped everything out of it and im planning to make a fibreglass dash, anyway enough about me your car is already drifting and i love the thing.

Keep up the good work.

It turned out too look like this:

Pleased :D

But the car is so stiff and uncomfortable that I went out and bought a new daily drive.... A real n/a monster with 1,3l and 110bhp and reeving over 8000rpm

Once I get my car back home I shall get cracking on the suspension and sort out my thread with some nice pics, also hopefully beginning work on the long term engine project.

Aye, nice dent...still looks cracking though! Loving those wide 13"'s what are they like to drift with? i imagine they give massive amounts of grip, this a good thing when drifting it?

Actually not, its quite slippy... But that's also because i have stiffened up the rear dampers a lot, so it gets more drift friendly :D
Its easy to kick it out in 2nd gear on dry asphalt.......

Grip is a god thing when drifting, because you want to go sideways fast. But with my limited bhp I cant have to much grip, then it would never get sideways...

I have started to mess around with the new engine, B23e:

awesome b23e, has the flat top pistons (jealous!) I'm hopefully building the head for my b230fb over easter (think H-cam, adjustable gear and port match :D). I'm trying to work out how much to skim the 531 head to give me a decent compression ratio (accounting for cam obviously), would love ~10.5/11:1

You should see some good horses out of that engine if you fuel it right ~150bhp with few problems

keep us updated! :)
