also i found the alarm system the old boy never used. the fobs work but the alarm has been off for so long that whan i turn it on the siren wont stop. any one have any ideas hoe to get this working? it has 2 keys to turn the alarm on/off at the siren and in the car. i have all the keys and the fobs. there is a set of switches on the main box all set the same. i think these have to be set to the fobs code but have no idea what they are............ pics below...........

Very smart! Might want to connect that hose back onto the exhaust manifold heat shield though. Who's is the S80? Volvo fan family?

yeah got about 3 other volvos in the block, mailny elderly and familys with the others
i got the best retro volvo out of them all but not retro car, i get beaten by a 10.3 sec quart/mile NOS'd black dodge charger that some one else has in thier tiny garage!

Very nice car and bargain-tastic, you've got a good one there by the looks of it
The ebay photos didn't do it justice.
I'm bordering on OCD when i comes my 360s fuel economy, on a long run I'm getting early/mid 30s and I don't drive quick, too old for all that. Chris C used to own mine and he did a fair bit of maintenance on the fuel injection system to make it run a lot better so I reckon what I'm getting mpg is the best I can expect.
Thirsty buggers they may be but the flip side is you won't be suffering depreciation!

I've no idea how long the bits I did to your's will last Rob, it was over 18 months ago now I'd have thought. First things to check are the resistances on the flappy paddle to the green book to see if they are still in spec (they get carbonised and wander hugely but can be cleaned) and the bi mettalic temp sender (which just fails)
The cleaning I'd reckon could need doing every 12 months with normal mileage

Lucky guy, your Glt looks lovely and for such a bargainous price aswell
I love CRX's aswell, never owned one but used to get a lot of them in when i was an apprentice at Honda around 12yrs ago. Cool little cars, go-kart like handling an an awesome noise from the Vtec. They are one of a handful of fwd that i'd own if the prices hadn't got silly for a good one.

I'd agree with you there on all counts, subtle and reversible mods should suit yours fine and will no doubt improve the fun-factor even more! I've got a set of Canis wheels from a Volvo 440 going spare if you want a set of cheap wheels to keep the bargain theme goingandy_h wrote:

a year on and a little update, getting it ready for the retro show at santa pod on sunday so getting it dropped to look like this......
so far got some Spax 40mm springs (yes i know they aint ideal but its just short term) and got the fronts too this.....
going to do the rear tomorrow with the 2" blocks, sorry i mean 2" ally tube
and at the moment got these and getting the curbage filed out and prep'd to spray gold..........
