I think so, UK cars seemed to avoid scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Well done dude!
I wouldve bet against that car getting through a test.
Didnt realise it was a MK2 either till I saw it with the front on/and from behind.
So is that just a blanking plate over the clock/rev counter position?
Looks like some kind of cool aircraft instrumentation.

Shows what i know about my Volvo special editions, when you said you'd bought a winner i thought you meant it jokingly because it's a bit of a shed, rather than a SE
So whats the thin plastic circuit board thing like on the back of these instrument clusters, the same as a higher spec one? I ask as my rev counter is dead and i want to put a big after market rev counter into a standard cluster, but the circuit boards on higher spec cars have parts in the way.

Whats the matter with the car i'm driving can't you tell that it's out of style?

its the same Smith housing, so a Smith clock or Smith rev-counter will bolt in directly on the same plastic circuit board.
however..... as it's a stripped-out Winner version, you have to wire the revcounter signal yourself from engine to the dashboard bundle

Sorry i didn't explain myself very well, i mean i want to fit an after market tacho like an Autometer or something as mine doesn't work and when it did it couldn't keep up with the F7R anyway
I'll look into it on my spare and see if it's do-able or not.

aah in that way, it strongly depends on the tacho's size though, you could allways consider putting a giant 4" or 5" thing including a shiftlight on top of the dashboard, JDM style
