Tasty stuff! What's the power like? I bet that exhaust is chuffing loud!! I also really want to know what the heck happened to that dash.

It's nice to see different stuff to the valver conversions

Power is just up a little on standard whatever that Might be? We reckon about 130ish bhp but can't be sure. Even so it's still a handful and will light the tyres up in 3rd gear!

Haha on the dash, it was already like that so I can't comment. I look into doing something with it...somehow.

Exhaust is loud but not daft, adds to the fun factor. People wondering whats comin down the road then see an old Volvo lol.

Cool. No idea what those engines make standard myself, but I'd say that's a realistic figure. Lighting up tyres in 3rd is a fair achievement! I get the same confused reaction with my valver. People looking round for something that looks quick, and it takes awhile to sink in before they realise it's a Volvo.

What about a trim line or something for the dash? Ali plate or something.

Dunno what to do about the dash tbh I mite look into something just dnt want it to look to new and tacky. Needs to look authentic lol.

It's a mixture of exhaust, turbo and wastegate chatter that gets me the puzzling looks 8)

I bet the valvers pretty quick?

I have got a chip for this to give it a few more bhp but I dnt think it needs it. Pretty loony as it is. Even more so now I've had the manifold sorted. It snapped today due to some dodgy welding!

FAir enough, standard, or nothing. Makes sense.

Valvers are quick yeah. I'd say mines running 150-160hp, standard 2.0 engine, but a filter and a none restrictive exhaust (tubular manifold, straight through system, 1 silencer).

It'd be the torque the turbo helps to put out that'll be the benefit of yours. Don't think you need the chip if it lights up in 3rd, but if you've got, may as well put it in! Dodgy welding, RARGH!

The welds were coming apart on the manifold which were on the to do list, just happened to snap sooner than we thought, now all welded up and braced with an extra mount welded on to keep it from happening again.

Managed to swipe an oil catch tank off my bro so I'll be fitting that soon. Well if I can find a diagram for the oil breather system tosee what's involved in fitting it.

Hi mate and welcome.
Car looks pretty cool with that exhaust.
Quick question, can you get away with that at the MoT station?
Cheers Mark. sm4
