For a man with a gauge fetish-you'd have thought a reliable fuel gauge would be higher up his list
Unless he just likes to look at his ambient temperature gauge whilst listening to the tick,tick of his hazards as he gets colder and colder

Oh man! You really arn't going to live it down!
That reminds me, my dad was turning out some old files the otherday, and amongst them were some Mk1 and 2 300 boshures including an accesory brosure which included a fuel can and a frame to bolt into the boot. I propose we locate one and get one for James
