I really hate most of the TDi and TDi drivers... Here in Belgium we have A LOT of companie's cars (leasing) and they are all TDis... (VW Golf, Audi A6, Opel Zafira...) And it's often the same kind of driver: a young idiot (ooops sorry for the word lol), 'manager' for example, who thinks he owns a "sport" car... Accelerating as fast as he can with a big black cloud on each gear change... I hate that sm85

I forgot to mention boy racers who accelerate full throttle towards red lights and then have to slam on the brakes when they finally remember red means stop. What a waste of petrol and brake pads :(

My opinion is that foglights arent annoying if they are adjusted correctly..But too many people who uses foglights have adjusted foglights wrong..

What comes to tailgating, there is a tip to loose them if you drive with 340 or 360.Goes like this:
1.While youre driving and you get someone gating your tail, lift up reverselock and put gearshifter to left...just little bit!! If you done this right, tailgater will see your reverselights :P

Ive done this many times and nothing, i say nothing will give you more laughing than seeing youre tailgaters face when he/she sees your reverselights while driving 120km/h

But PLEASE practise that first before you do it in "crimescene"..and dont put "rallygear" while driving forward

Pet hates:

Drivers who assume my car is slow because it is a Volvo

People who don't use or know what an indicator is for

People who stop in the road before turning into a side street

4x4's (especially on a school run with just one child)

BMW Drivers  (although I did have a 518i at one time)

Overtaking Trucks (add 15 mins to my average journey)

People who insist on driving at high speed in all bad weather (rain/snow)

People who crash on the motorway at rush hour (usually a side effect of the pet hate above)

People using mobile phones while driving

People who hog middle and fast lanes at sub 70mph

People who speed up to prevent you overtaking them safely

Drivers who daydream while driving

People who don't check their lights (ie brake lights) are actually working

Roundabout wars

and other smaller hates

oops apologies I must look really irritable (its a long list)

Nah mate, 90% do ;)

I get p*ssed at those who speed up, most don't seem to like being over taking by a 300. I usually get away with it, a lot can't seem to tell its a 300 as I have a Hella grill, and that somehow seems to confuse them till I get side by side. Had a bloody Golf try and do it the other day, looked like his g/f was p*ssing herself his 55 plate was getting overtaking by me ;) Then Mum pointe out we were going slightly faster than average crusing speed, but thought it was funny none the less

Hmm, years ago I was driving nearly 20 000km/month, on that job I needed to answer tech support also, so I mostly drove while talking on phone, no handsfree. However I noticed that there was plenty of drivers that did not talked a phone, but had no sense of surroundings, no signaling, generally looked many of them were not aware they are sitting on driver's seat.

For me at least, speaking on phone while driving did not change a lot, twice I avoided moose that runned to road and talking to phone, however I dropped phone quite fastly when I spotted that monster running to road
Those are quite dangerous animals, you really can't see them well, they are fast and HUGE.

However I have seen tv-program, it was police videos from UK, there was ppl barely staying on road while talking to phone, I was bit suprised that it takes so much concentration from some ppl. Here I have seen some ppl speed is not stable when they talk to phone, but that is general problem, I guess :P

Thats because people over here think they are indestructable - I have seen a Moose, they are big and very fast and almost indestructable

Hmmm most things have been mentioned before, but mine are........

Middle lane muppets, they cause motorway queues as everyone has to come out to overtake them, bunching up the traffic and often the inside lane is empty!

People who wander about on roundabouts and cut across you by not keeping to their lane, often haven't even a clue that you're there.

Inconsiderate parking is one that really annoys me, especailly around the school about a mile from where I live, it's a no go zone around school collection/dropping of times, parked all around the junction, blind bends, doors open, stood in the road, idiots!

People who've no idea how to use roundabouts in general! You pull up, slow down and stop as they have right of way, and they sit there, waiting, waiting for what!? They look at your blankly, so then they get the roar away treatment! Or those who don't indicate, leaving you playing the guessing game as to which way they are going, or you sit there waiting as they are still signalling right, but then turn off left before they reach you! It's not rocket science!

Drunk drivers. It's not clever at all, it's just far too dangerous to risk no matter how little you've had.

Similar to Vicky's one about people who seem to drive at 45 mph or so no matter where they are! On the big wide main roads, 40 mph, then get to a 30 mph zone, still 40 mph! The other ones are those who fly through the villages and towns, then slow down when they reach the national speed limit roads where they can safely get up to speed. I was overtaken going over speed bumps the other night by a transit van doing about 50 mph in a 30 zone, suddenly saw lights behind me, on my rear spoiler near enough, then coming up to a blind bend on a hill over speed bumps it over takes me! Get to the national speed limit a few hundred yards later, it had slowed down to 40 mph!

People who brake unnecessarily! The sort who are contantly hovering over the brake pedal at the slightest hint of a corner, or oncoming traffic etc., instead of easing off and simply slowing down through engine breaking to shave some speed, then gently building up to speed again, they suddenly jab the brakes, lose all momentum and end up in a flap as it won't pull in 5th now they've lost all the speed!

Tailgaters. It really annoys me, they get so close that you know if you had to brake suddenly they wouldn't stand a chance of stopping, and it's you they'll hit. When you can't even see their lights you know they're close, and often it's in situations where there is no way you can or want to go any faster, as you are either obiding by the limit or are in a queue! I have in the past felt the need to drop a gear, make the brakelights come on with my left foot without braking, and stamp on the accelerator at the same time. That wakes them up and gets them puzzled. I'd not thought of moving the gear lever across and lift the gate to make the reversing lights come on, certainly one to try in extreme cases!

Mobile phone users. Despite it being against the law, you still see so many people holding phones while driving. I'm not kidding, I was followed on the motorway by a woman on the phone AND doing her make up at the same time. She was on autopilot, I just made my brakelights come on again, a favourite of mine, without braking, and it took her a while to even notice, she was tailgating as well. When she finally realised I could be braking you could see the shock and panic in her face!

Well...............I think that's quite enough for now.........there are other things that annoy me, but these are the main things that cause the most annoyance! I'm not an angry driver........normally, it just depends on how badly someone drives around me and how dangerous they are.

I'll also have a good moan about people who drive at 40ish whatever the limit, in particular the minibus I got stuck behind yesterda for 30 miles :( He seemed to be completely oblivious of the mile-long queue of traffic he had built up behind him!
