Do you got the 4-2-1 manifold?

Sounds like you had a lot of fun with your 360!

Cheers

4 Pots

Post by GLT82&88 » 28 Nov 2006 11:11 am

Hi Sven360. Sorry for not updating this thread. I had a huge response (especially on the brakes) and I sold them as part of lot with loads of other bits. The guy came all the way from Sunderland and had a bit of a rummage through various bits & pieces in my garage! He got a real good deal - (by getting a fair price on some bits, I threw in others).

Apologies to yourself and anyone else that I haven't got back to.

I still have a large collection of items available - if anyone else requires anything (340 or 360 related) please give me a ring (however small or wierd).

I have brand new service items that I used to stock but never used (eg premium top-of-the-range Champion copper core spark plugs for the early type 340).

Regards , Andrew

Andrew, I sent you an email about those brakes a while back.. just wanted to ask you what model of BMW M3 you used the discs off. I happen to be waiting for a pair of new 240 girlings to come in from the US (by boat), and it would be a great help to know which discs are a good fit.

Filthy Mackems sm42 -he may have the brakes but I can still sleep soundly in the knowledge they'll never see the Premiership again-never mind an European fixture.
Think I took that very well all things considered

Thanks for letting me know-let me know if you've got any other performance stuff-not really intrested in std items.

AE86- have you considered carlton 2.2 vents-the German Capris(Manta) tend to run 'em with 240 4 pots

Thanks for the tip, I'll look into it. I suspect a lot of discs will 'work' with a bit of effort, it's just the trick to find the one that comes closest to what I need. For example the offset of a disc is a pretty mayor factor. Wont be able to tell what I need untill the calipers come in.

Its a shame you hadn't found this site before.

As to getting parts specialy made I know what you mean. It can be expensive. I have a had a number of products made specialy for 300's and supply a lot of bits through this forum.

The brake conversion sounds interesting. I know they are now sold but what was the build up of them?
