And then there are all Volvo "redblock" engines from bigger Volvos, maany variations, there's a topic about different variations of 2.3l engines at general tech, but there are also other size variations listed.

As a uber-basic rule of thumb I'd say 'most' smaller later 80s / early 90s Renault engines can be made to fit a 340, then almost all Volvo engines can be made to fit a 360. Obviously you can fit anything in pretty much anything, but in terms of easy(ish) fits...

cheers

Rich, I welcome you to the fold sir. I've been through one or 2 300's now, but both were terminaly rusty cars, I had about a month of fun and commuting in each and both were stripped and the rotten shells scrapped. I now run a 245 wagon as a and everyday car with some very unsubtle mods but everyone who knows me knows the car is never going to be sold and if I dent it, well I'll weld it up again :)

Welcome dude and get yourself to some of the meets and put faces to the names!!

Hehe no problem, thanks! ;) Well I've studied English since the fifth grade, mandatory second language. Well you could pick some other language too but pretty much everyone takes English.

It's kinda funny also because Finland is a bi-lingual country, Swedish is the second language. All public stuff needs to be available as Swedish too, street names are in Swedish below the Finnish name etc.. It's a history thing, as Finland was a part of Sweden from year 1150 to 1890. :) But still Swedish studies begin at the seventh grade.

Though you need English much more than Swedish in every day stuff so it's better that way. :P

And you have a point Dai, rallying doesn't help a car... ask Steve, he went a bit pale when me and Fake found the shruberry last week...

That tyre size sound right for drifting.

Remember to check out your spedo readings after you change them.

Well it went straight through its MOT today :)

Not bad for a car thats been standing for nearly 3 years, i did the complete checks beforehand, it just needed a O/S/F side light bulb and some pressure in its tyres :D

The wheels and tyres are here, so they'll be going on as soon as i recieve the front springs from Dai, then i'll take a couple of piccys for you all!!

Hoping to get to a drift day at Bovington on Sunday, just a shame that it wont have a nice ride height thou :(

Cheers Rich
