To be honest....auto-flatter is working overtime there. It's got a fair bit of cosmetic rust (front wings and doors, mainly), and the paint has totally had it.....but I'm really not complaining. It's pretty straight, and they're rare as hell, regardless of condition.
Now to go and spend more than I paid for it on a car bubble...

It drives very nicely for its age. I've been used to how a B14 feels thanks to Nessy. This is the same, but much 'tighter', thanks to 1/4 of the mileage!

Very nice car! I would also buy MK1 if I would have some place where I could build it..

Looks like a good way to keep the rust at bay
Have you got any good theories about how to keep an off-the-road 300 in good nick? I've heard all sorts of different ideas, from axle stands to filling the carburettor up with with oil but I haven't bothered with those kind of measures so far ...
My red GLi is off the road until the autumn, (probably about 6 months in total) but all I did was remove the battery.

The idea of axle stands is to stop the tyres flatspotting with the weight on the same place for so long. Make sure you leave it with the handbrake off, so that doesn't sieze. Also take the plugs out and turn the engine over every so often, to keep everything lubricated and stop it siezing up.

I suppose you'd have to do that fairly often then?
