Doing burnouts isn't going to break your car overnight...but bear in mind that its a pretty severe strain on your drivetrain (which as hinted at isn't that strong anyway), and also on your rear brakes (assuming you're flooring it, then standing on the brakes - and you don't have line-lockers).

It's more a case of when it'll break, not if. Almost everything on a car will break sooner or later (maybe 1 year....maybe 30), but the harder you treat the car, the sooner things will fail.

With that in mind, proceed smokily :) I'm sure we all do it...
