Hi Aymat, Long time no speak with.

Would this be the 'boot protection' you're looking for - found in the Macs store of improbably surviving 300 bits! ???

It's well used - but I would imagine almost extinct as a species. If you're interested you're welcome to it for whatever it costs to get it to you.

My christmas list is:

- sport steering wheel
- genuine radio amplificator
- plastic sunroof
- protection for the boot
- dog guard (even if there will NEVER be a dog in my 300s :D )
- adaptative rear suspension
- genuine baby seat :D :D
The baby seat? Sooooo dangerous! No offspring of mine is travelling in that 80's shite ;-) I thought about the dog guard once too, good when travelling with the boot filled to the roof with no parcel shelf. There is some stuff that I'm not too fussed with either, spare fuel can holder, and mudflaps for example ...

Ride-levelling, front spots and 80's radio with amp will hopefully be fitted soon ;-)

Really high on my wanted list is air con. Although I am not too fussed about the originality of it, as long it works and the button is correct ;-)

I would love this GT steering wheel:
Image

and the pad for the Momo (R-Sport) one as it's missing from mine.

The early VDO econometer would be nice:

Did you see the variable intermittent wash-wipe on Ebay Aymat? 50 Euros, wow ...

<edit>
I just noticed all those smilies next to "baby seat". Are you telling us something? ;-)
</edit>

That's a GL-steering wheel, and I know somebody who has one...Shall I ask for you?

Volvo also did a kind of plastic boot tray as well IIRC ...

Good to hear from you again, mac ;-)

Yep they certainly did a plastic tray (as they did for 200/400/700/800s).

The one above is for important people who don't actually put anything dirty in their boot! (you'll see from it's condition that I wasn't important enough).

Hi Tom - been a bit absent of late (got a bit tied up with the VOC for one thing - and we also managed a holiday (usual pilgrimage to Guernsey) - discovered lots of 300s on Alderney).

Hope all is well with you.

Mac.

:-)

I committed this act of sacrilege once:

"Boot protection" was a green tarpaulin, nevertheless I spent quite a while hoovering afterwards ;-)

EDIT:

There's one in the right of the above picture, Chris ...

I`ve got one of these - not as good as the hard plastic IMO, but it does stop all the "just in case" stuff sliding around !

There are a set of Ride-Levellers on sale in Holland at the moment ... Just the shocks though, not all the other bits and pieces.
J340GLT wrote:Oh yeah and what is the plastic Sunroof you are referring to??
He means the glass sunroof ;-)

Forget all your louvres and trip computers, I'll bet no-one has any of these:

Genuine Volvo 340 / 360 Gift Articles.
Image
"In close co-operation with the PR departments of Volvo Car B.V., a range of gift articles has been developed in order to support the sales or sales campaigns of models in the 340/360 series."

Image
Cufflinks, set in a presentation box with the Volvo 360 GLT logotype

Image
Polo / tennis shirt - a fancy sport shirt made of excellent material

Image
White heavy quality bath towel. Large sized.

Image
Goldplated fashionable quartz watch, suits ladies and gentlemen. On the rear side, the inscription "Volvo 360 GLE".
... and another fleeting glance at those cufflinks ...

Image
Leather belt, oxblood red. Luxury design, with the 360 GLT logotype on the buckle. Matches the design of the cufflinks (cufflinks, again ?)

Image
Combined wallet / driving licence holder. Made of black leather with the Volvo 360 GLT logo embossed on the cover.

Image
Elegantly designes lighters with cool metal finish and the Volvo 360 GLT logotype in blue. Due to international regulations, it is not possible to supply these products by air.

... and finally ...
Image
100& cotton with a blue Volvo 360 GLT logotype on one sleeve and an eyecatching design printed on the front. Longer sizes upon request.
