I'm so glad we don't suffer from dash cracking over here, well not us 300 owners anyway. Try finding a capri without a knacked dashtop! They're bad over here, so they probably melt in Aus!

I'd imagine there is somewhere overthere that does it, lots of the rally cars over here get done. Your old dash I'd imagine would be a great starting point, but I havn't ever done it. *If* I ever turn Fake into a stage car I'll get it done, but all the stuff I do atm is night time anyway really.

There should be some matter fabric that could be easily attached by glue, I'm not all too sure that doing it hard way is much better in any other way than perhaps estethically.

I would need something to be done to my dash too in that french fwd crap, it has bad reflections even on night, I had some old mouse mat that did the trick in some old Mazda I had, but now I'm lacking such.

Hey, now I got it, same plastic foam what those mouse mats are made from, just need some big roll of it and that would add some extra safety too by making dash soft to hit

If in doubt, check the blue leaflet:
http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/v ... =37&t=3825
It shows which colour wire goes where. Mine recorded a record -15° the other day, unfortunately, the camera packed up so all I managed was this, a day later ;-)

May just be the bulb? Try swapping it over from the old cluster ...

Early Porsche 924s have a really bad reputation for that over here ...

My amazon needs a dash mat thing as the previous owner took it off and started applying filler to the steel!
Luckily you can still get the mats for LHD cars like mine.

You can't store alcohol in cold warehouse here, it will freeze, sorry for not so clean temp thingy, it has been there long before me and I forgot to clean it up at summer, now it is impossible, water won't stay liquid

Hey Anne, that new dash fits in great :D And don't worry guys, she's got a really good dash cover that fits very well over it, so the new one won't go the way of the old one.

Hiya Andy,I've been wondering where you got to, thanks again for all your help when you were over here. I'd like to pick your brains again, if I may? Regarding the location of the Pierburg Valve...is it the one on the left or the right? As I was standing on the other side of the car when you pointed it out, I'm a bit confuddled.

You'll need a more modern temp gauge. :D

Those brake warning lights Duvel pointed out are same as in 200-series dash I believe.
