i pay £678 a year fully comp with breakdown cover courtesy car glass cover the works i can drive anything up to £40k in trade value with direct line on a 340 1.4 i get a 15% discount for home insurance with them and a further 10% discount because the mrs has a policy on her car with them and thats with 10 years of driving whilst disqualified convictions declared and i'm classed as a new driver as i only got a full licence in october so my excess is £400 for the first year but will be zero excess in october this year i thought i was getting rippedt off but some of you guys are getting shafted by the look of it.my best qoute from a comparison site was £1400 tpft on the volvo and £1900 on the mrs 106 french shit box but now i can drive what i like within reason as long as its taxed and mot'd it dosn't have to be insured by the owner but i'm not covered to release vehicles from compond's etc or tax other vehicles unless there registered on the policy its mad how the fuckers try to rip us off but if you shop hard and bargain with them u can get it it took some bartering to get what i did i got them to drop the interest rates to zero and loose half the deposit and the direct debit payments i just ring up once a month and pay over the phone.

Was the cheapest on a price comparison site (don't normally use but came up trumps) Insurer is Lancaster.

Will get more info for you next time I'm on Obe wan 340pw

I insured mine with Lancaster too :) 6k limited mileage but I only use it to run forwards and back to work 10 miles a day and I'm paying £158 TPFT 24 with 2 years NCB but they didnt apply that to the policy. To say I was happy with that quote is an understatement :D
