Life without electricity in 2010?

More snow, more problems, electric company failed to see what I did see, more snow and their grid starts to fall into pieces, so 12 hours without electricity to 3 hours without electricity some shorts moments when power comes back and dies again, bit difficult to plan cooking when power can go for hours at any moment.

Luckily I do have camping equipment, so it is not as big of problem as it could be otherwise, however I don't have anything that would work as oven.

Lights are no problem, hot water is not a problem either, heating works without electricity too, but it still is bit of annoyance.
