I bet even that would be better than Reliant, on the other hand, Robin or Ant would be just perfect for VND's tight parking spot, it would be not too much of hazzle to carry damn thing to the spot, no more tight corners

There is one Reliant Ant on sale for £100, sure it misses a door, but you don't need one, nobody will ever even think about stealing such transportation device, just keep bicycle off from back as someone might steal a bike and accidentally take Ant among with the bicycle

Those Ants keep coming up. I don't follow them, but I'm sure I've seen those exact photos years ago. Having towed and sat in an Ant before, they are grim. With the engine behind the large wheel, and the gearbox behind the engine, the cranked gear lever is miles back.

It's a pity I haven't got the cylinder head back on this car:

Else I'd be insisting you use it instead of public transport

I did saw video at Youtube where one of those Reliant owners did try to end life of his small personal transportation device by running it under the train, however damn thing is indestructible, you get same effect if you put toy car on toy train tracks, it just got pushed aside, it would be impossible to destroy such on purpose, I believe.

What was the thing that British car show bloke drove at inside of offices at BBC building?
Can't be very expensive car as bloke hardly did fit in that damn thing, but on plus side, that whole 'car' did fit into elevator, maybe it would be possible to fit one inside to those buses you have there?
Bad point is that, it did interests thieves, some low life did nick it from him, can't remember did he ever found that low level dimwit, you don't steal a man's car, that's the rule. Hmm, it is just that thing might not be quite manly enough, if you know what I mean :?

What's the budget (apart from zero...)?

To be fair...if you want a great trade-off between price, "niceness" and minimal mechanical problems...the 850/70 series do take some beating.

Check out the following eBay items...

230449563778 - reserve might be scary.
260571050355 - slightly nervous of the slushmatic, at that mileage. Only really heard bad things about T5 autos, mind you.
...and if you must, 330402075288

And the cheeky wildcard...remember my S70 was a bit nice? Here's its near-twin...
160413550495
Budget £300 or so for a new engine and rad (the engine has probably been cooked by the rad, so I'd not even bother with the HG), and some beer money for super-fast swappage. Just a shame it's a slusher.

Having said that, I'd love to see you back in a 300. I know where there's an 83 mk2 340 for sale, if you're game...

cheers

budget is gonna be near 400 dude. Which will rise every month I don't have a car, as I can claw a bit from wages.
Problem is, anything good is gonna be in the south (they always seem to be anyway). So traveling the length of the land and running back would take most of the budget.

So I suppose local is an important factor.

The mk2 is in the Huddersfield area, so could be worse...

Not sure how good, bad, or ugly it is, but I can ask.

I saw that too... bargain price that Dave's offering it for! Check insurance though! (Although for what they were I found 940's cheap to insure)

Also spotted this locally:

EDIT: Also this... it'll be slowz0rz but nice and cheap:

By the way Ben...are you aware of how fast that 940 will be? Compared to the 360, it'll be properly face-bendingly fast. You're probably looking at 230bhp or so, 250lbft. From an insurance point of view, I'd say it's got a manual boost controller, plus the suspension stuff. Try Chris Knott, Adrian Flux, HIC...the usual suspects.

cheers
