Just think you'd be able to sleep like a baby!

I bet even that would be better than Reliant, on the other hand, Robin or Ant would be just perfect for VND's tight parking spot, it would be not too much of hazzle to carry damn thing to the spot, no more tight cornersmacplaxton wrote:You could always end up with some tat like this

Those Ants keep coming up. I don't follow them, but I'm sure I've seen those exact photos years ago. Having towed and sat in an Ant before, they are grim. With the engine behind the large wheel, and the gearbox behind the engine, the cranked gear lever is miles back.jtbo wrote:I bet even that would be better than Reliant, on the other hand, Robin or Ant would be just perfect for VND's tight parking spot, it would be not too much of hazzle to carry damn thing to the spot, no more tight corners![]()
There is one Reliant Ant on sale for £100, sure it misses a door, but you don't need one, nobody will ever even think about stealing such transportation device, just keep bicycle off from back as someone might steal a bike and accidentally take Ant among with the bicycle
budget is gonna be near 400 dude. Which will rise every month I don't have a car, as I can claw a bit from wages.foggyjames wrote:What's the budget (apart from zero...)?
To be fair...if you want a great trade-off between price, "niceness" and minimal mechanical problems...the 850/70 series do take some beating.
Having said that, I'd love to see you back in a 300. I know where there's an 83 mk2 340 for sale, if you're game...
cheers
James
Think that may not be required.foggyjames wrote:The mk2 is in the Huddersfield area, so could be worse...
Not sure how good, bad, or ugly it is, but I can ask.
cheers
