Its cowering in johns unit, behind the manta and a 340 2.3turbo conversion waiting to get welded up.
That poor man works full time, and spends the rest of his time trying to get MY and his 16 cars on the road.
So im not complaining.

Ah, I'm missing all the latest news as always

Welding is not that bad, mmm, right, you are probably not going to believe this, well maybe a piccie will ensure you about that:

Hmm, that might actually put you away from welding, instead of convincing how easy it is, those are probably worst welds ever shown here, but it was thin metal, burned trough continously so had to fill with weld which increased holes and more filling was needed, that was with lowest power setting

No, as been said the wheels are the correct size, Volvo steelies are 13's are they not, it's just got too small a profile tyre on. Still looks nice though bar that.

Oh and VND nice set of rims, hopefully not too long before you are behind the wheel of a Volvo again.

They did indeed come with 13" rims from the factory but even they look small on a large car like a 300... 14 or 15" are the 'right' size imo. Given the right tyre and offset combination 13's can look great, I just think they're too extreme for the car to pull it off. As for VND's rims I think they'll look a million times more suited to the car.

My two bobs worth, from looking at MANY, including magnumpies is as follow.......................

15s on low profile = win.
13s on balloons or standard profiles = win.

15s on baloons = death.
13s on low profiles = fail. - (with the exeption of Nikdevs old 360, which was slamed so low that it worked.)

Reasonable argument ends.

If it doesn't look like a rollerskate I'll think it's pretty cool... :D

The modified remark was just a joke, I'm all for it... but putting 165 wide tyres onto 13x8" (ish?) wheels with a sub 20 offset just doesn't look right on a 300. Maybe a mini...
I know dude it's all good man :)

Very nice wheels VND. If you'd like a set of tinted rear clusters I've got some going spare. The ones you did for my 360! I'm changing back to normal ones as that's more my cup of tea (being of the old fart disposition  )

I kinda like original way too, but I'm too old fart, at least memory works as sharply as anyone being 80 and I'm not even half of that

Me not cool  Also I'm a bit concerned that people aren't picking me out on the motorway when I indicate to change lane, I've had quite a few occassions where they haven't clocked me. Of course that could just be the usual lack of awareness exhibited from our fellow road users

However, the black/silver wheels are staying on despite the fact I've got a set of Canis' in the garage.
