They wouldn't want it now unless I went to a greasy spoon. It's covered in linseed oil.

Your fault I do believe? lol I'm sure it's you that suggested it's blacking up properties once?

I am inclined to agree mind! I think I just used a bit too much.

I'm tempted to take the whole car in with me, but that would be classed as ram raiding and would defeat the object

Will check out that thread Helldriver. 340pw (not sure I've ever seen it)
Just eat at the drive thru. No-one will touch your car then. lol

Aye, that it did Ben! I'm just hoping it dries, as it would no doubt streak all over the place when caught in the rain.
I'm sure it was drying earlier. I just went back with a second coat an hour or so before I took the old girl for a blast so maybe that's to blame. lol

Good suggestion though, where did you hear it? :D

[EDIT] Cheers Ben for saving me the leg work searching mate. 340pw

Looks very clean Helldriver! Lucky tw@t with your suffix plate too.
I guess it's warranted seeing as it's a mk1/2 - what do we call those? I love the mirrors and the rear quarter vents. :D

It's like a cross over between the true Mk 1 (76-81?) and the Mk 2, but to me the font end says it's a Mk 2. I like the vents, quarter lights and mirrors, personally I think the GLS was one the nicest looking 300's, plenty of chrome/stainless bits and bobs 2 :D

I did the same. Works great indeed, but make sure it doesnt get wet (rain) untill is 100% dry.
