In reality there's not a massive amount to do. Water pump needs changing, odds and ends from being stood for too long. A cambelt would be advisable. I'll need to put another wing on the n/s as while is was stood before I got it, someone put a lovely great dent in it, as in crashed into it! All the other missing parts I can rob from the spares cars. Such as speedo etc, sunroof parts, front light and indicator, window wiper motor and arms. I'd like to replace the front valance (metal part) and then sort the usual rust around the rear doors, sunroof panel, but it's all cosmetic. I doubt it'd take much to put it on the road again.

Which one's? The reversing lenses on the black 360 GLT saloon? Nah, that's my Dad's, they're not missing, just removed and in the boot, as they often fall out and then get lost or broken if you're not careful.

LOL, sorry, knew it was your dad's. Still put 'your' for some reason, bleh.

I wasn't aware you could remove the reversing lenses?! Or any lenses for that matter!

I managed to change a front light lense on a 360 in a rush, as it was the night before the MOT and the n/s one was cracked, there are loads of metal clips all around those, which with the bumper on and light in place makes it slightly harder! I think the reversing lenses are the only ones that come out easily, though the others could be replacable, not too sure about the orange wrap around indicator part.

LOL, hope he's got a good job, you can't drive past many petrol stations in a 1700 I'll bet..

(though I'm sure Hugh told me they're nearly as good as a B14 for economy..)

The 1.7 is the most economic of the lot apparently, better than the 1.4 - which has to be worked harder, and obviously better than the 360s. It's a shame when you overtake something - then your petrol light comes on!

There we go... EVO 360 is online. The only visible mod would be the numberplates and the window tint (which is blue if u look close). As you can see the exhaust and paint (top of the boot, front right fender...so on) need replacing.

This last pic is the worlds best $20 DIY Immobiliser (the red light under cd player).

Take a good look at it, cause its not gonna look like that for long
- Rear Wing for christmas
- Wheels And Headlights hopefully just after
- Lowering the front and CF Bonnet mid febuary
- Respray the rest in the ford's "Acid Rush"(yellow lime colour) followed by a light blue pearl overcoat before the end of next year. I'd have resprayed it 1st up except some idiot is likely to scrape a key down it if the rest of the car isnt looking just as good

What are you going for in terms of headlights, and what about the CF bonnet - real CF, or just CF effect?

Those pics didn't work for me :(

Sounds exciting though!

cheers

there the pics should be working now.

What I'm doin with my headlights, is i've taken the 2 from my donor, fully dismantled it, and i'm going to give the inside a coat of glass paint, just enough to give the glass some colour, hopefully not enough to affect the light... also am removing the parker lights, and drilling a small hole near where they go to mount my new LED parker lights, which can show red, green and blue and any combination of the 3 colours (turqoise, green and purple look wicked, shoulda taken a few snaps before i pulled em apart.)
and am also doing the same with the foglights units when i finish with the headlights... theres not much in the way of aftermarket stuff for the car so i'm muckin round with what i got.

As for the bonnet, its looking like costing $1000 for the mould and bonnet in full CF, including the 2 vents i want to put near radiator and a scoop. If its looking like being too expensive i'm just gonna have a plain fiberglass one with CF skin. which would work out at roughly 1/2 price, but i want the weight saving, the look is just a bonus.
