Re: First 340 hatch with leather?! 05.04.09

My doubts about the leather interior all evaporated in a tornado of plush comfort goodness this afternoon.
Big cheers to Filthyjohn and son (almost) for showing me how the hides pop in and out.

Words cannot describe how awesome they are......
So i shall try pictures:

Seats look mint mate (H) Green velour be damned

LMAO @ Gaz being referred to as John's son  Top quality mincing fellas. Also those wheels from the valva wouldn't have looked right on the 340 mate! Stick with the steels on beauty rim idea for now. Gets me by and looks OK IMO.

I just skimmed the last few comments etc. but you've flogegd the MX wires now aye? Was thinking would the longer bolts with the allen head not have solved the quandry?

theyre listed atm man.

tried two wheelnut specialists, an with the thread i need, with the length of shaft i need, and correct diameter for the appature fitting, the nuts i bought, were the ONLY option.
Pain in the rear.

Just bought some BMW mini (one) 15" steels from the bay tnight.
Never fitted, came straight off for alloys.
4 brand spanking new tyres.
51 english squid.

Gonna powdercoat/spray black and try and find some 15in rings and run them with the chromey scooby nuts.
Should look well enough, for the budget.

Maximum pimpness. He isn't my son, I'm 8 years older than him. Which admittedly is about average father/son age gap in Sunderland.

Brother?!
Really?

I would have had a tenner on 'lover' all day long dude.
But 'brother' certainly explains the playful hostility.

And i must say, im more than somewhat relieved.

A fair number of 340 hatches had leather. Probably the first mk2, though...

This went from woe to woo pretty quickly, didn't it?

cheers

P.I.M.P thats looking sweet my friend, i've been faffing about with seats myself allday, will put it in my thread once i've dug it up from the deapths.

15" Mini steels sound like a bargain to me, especialy with new rubber, should look tasty.

Good work,

i have often wondered what it would be like to take the other route and go for something other than Buckets seats and Harnesses in a 340,

Cant wait to see the 15" mini steelies, just one of the many wheels i have concidered in the past
