Definitely should Pete.. is that a GLT too? I'd guess so going by the rest of your collection! Also if it is a GLT I can't even picture the colour, I still can't picture the light metallic blue on the D reg one for sale either. I think you should post some pics up of your collection in the "Family" photos thread! Might well have to get a wing sprayed to match, 360s are rare as it is nevermind in the same colour as what you want.

Every one of my collection is a 360 GLT! So they're not rare here! I think I'll rob a decent wing off of one of my others and spray it, once I've repaired the normal rear door ledge rot that'll need spraying, plus the thin sunroof panel! May blank that one over though! But I'd liked to keep it original as possible, and fix the sunroof, after I robbed the working parts for my own! Should have it working though, as it's not too bad to do once you've fixed one! I used to work with the owner of it as well, then he had to get rid of it, thinking it was going to be scrapped, as the steering rack got dangerous and failed the MOT, but that was repaired and it stood unused! It'd be nice to preserve it and I've not got the motivation to do it and the parts!

Steve, I've been meaning to add the pictures to the my family section, I took a load before the meet, but never got round to posting them. Will take some more nwo the weather is better.

Pete

typical , do everything above board , chat to police , council etc.then the bloody thing disappears overnight. phone a couple of local scrappys and no one knows what happened to the dumped car. perhaps it was the same guys that took Dougle and with the distance between the two disappearences that kinda strengthens my alien abduction theory.

I've been known to occasionally "borrow" parts from Volvos sitting on the edge of dual-carriageways. True, it is probably illegal but the way I see it is if you ask the council they would probably just save themselves the bother of signing a few things and just say "No", and round here the chances are that some youf will come out and torch it at some point, so nobody'd even know.... But it's alot easier on dual carriageways, in urban areas it's alot harder to tell if it's dumped or just very rarely used.... (a Manchester uni car park has a 340GL with moss growing under it, immaculate mudflaps, and CCTV pointing at it. Never got around to asking the security).

As for saloons, the car has alotta space, but it's very difficult to use up all of it. You can't take the seat out (well, not without a spanner), it's hard to get stuff right in the back of the boot, and you have to leave space for the lid springs---but at least my boot doesn't close on my head! :P Last time I moved, think I got a full seperates system, bedding, clothes, CDs, PC (minus monitor) and a few other bits, without having to pile stuff ontop of my friend in the passenger seat though.

Anyone watching 5th Gear on channel 5 UK? The Best of 5th Gear clip showed a world record attempt for launching a caravan off of a ramp behind a BMW, onto a bed of tyres, then cars lined up to soften the landing. Saw a white 340 Limited Editon Hatchback in the line of cars to land on. :x Don't think it was damaged in the landing, however to be there it was obviously a scrapped car. It didn't look too bad from the brief shot I saw, and I'm sure it was a Limited Edition badge!

Sh*t, she's single LOL But a little bit to old...
Vicki's extensive knowledge and experience is invaluable to Fifth Gear, which she joined after presenting Top Gear for the BBC, and also Top Gear GTI and Top Bikes for UK Horizons.

She recently hosted a series on Five called Be a Grand Prix Driver, a competition that saw Jenson Button and fellow Fifth Gear presenter Tiff put 1,000 potential drivers through their paces in a bid to find the next Schumacher.

After completing a journalism course, Vicki started her career as an editorial assistant for Car Mechanics Magazine. She then helped launch Max Power, and has also written for Auto Express, Carweek Magazine and worked as News Editor at What Car?.

Vicki has been in the driving seat since the tender age of 12, racing a 100cc kart until the age of 17. As she gained experience, she raced a Ginetta two-seater sports car in the one-make series in 2000. Not only does Vicki compete, she is also a racing instructor at many UK circuits and holds a RZCMSA Race National A licence. Her love for motorcycles has lead to her splashing out on a Ducati Monster 750.

Vicki, 30, was educated in Hertfordshire and Cambridge. She now lives in Hertfordshire, and yes, boys, she's single.

Vicki Bulter-Henderson defines the word 'Minx'. Bit old, yes, but I definitely would. Of course she's single - she's clearly a right dirty little.....;)
