According to my math the new ones should have a 1.4" larger diameter, which is a 0.7" axle lift. Your spedo should also be 5.8% slower than it was
Ok I admit it, not my maths. Here's a very useful tyre size calculator for comparing two sizes

Oh and nice looking wheels
Hmm, thinking about it, if Mini wheels will fit a 300 - the Cooper wheels might look pretty cool...

Just a quick 'shop

I'd been thinking about cooper alloys, but aren't they 17's or something like that?
Just looked, basic Coopers have 16's with higher spec ones on 17's, the limited edition Dunlop? 4 spoke affairs would look pretty hot me thinks.

Whats the matter with the car i'm driving can't you tell that it's out of style?

Ah, yeah. The benefit of computer wizardry is you can just scale them till they look right, 17's would be too big really.
You mean these wheels? Again not to correct scale
I don't think they'd look so hot without the big disk brakes though

both those styles are 17,18s.
theres only really the steels, the minilite style bubble type alloys and a couple of other horrible styles that come down to 15s on new mini.
everything else is way too tall.
oh and mine DO rub on full lock.
not much though.

Be interesting to see it stood next to yours though dude. To compare.
Think it IS pretty much done now mind.

Care and repair. I like it lol

Yeah, has it even turned a wheel since the man legally allowed you use of his fine pot holed, camera infested, bus lane clogged roads? Lay off the booze lol (if only for a little while

) Agreed on it being a lot of hassle for a 3" drop, she looks very good as is, just it sucks to see someones car get higher if you know what I mean lol.
Full cool points for originality though man!
We need a local meet!
