well here she is 90% complete! f-ing blody lock nut has broke on the last wheel i was taking off! 6 hours of trying every thing and still not off! missed saturday at the pod and now gonna miss the show and shine! :evil: :evil: :evil: getting an angle grinder and cutting the original volvo alloy off the hub in the morning :evil: :evil: pissed off big time!

looking good!, have you tryed welding something to nut? would awkward but cutting the wheel off sounds alot of work!

X2 to that idea, if you can get the welder in there that will be your best bet.

ah its beyond the point of welding now! but i couldn't if i tried anyway! its one of the deep narrow holes you can just get the socket down . i'm taking it to work where i have access to various tools to cut the wheel off! only option now! it bloody deserves it! :evil: :lol:

Did you make it to the pod in the end? Might have even talked to you (spoke to too many random new people yesterday!)

Oh also if this ever happens to you and you want to keep the wheels - don't despair too much. I'm currently in that situation and it can be done by destroying the hub instead :wink:

its done! woo hoo! but cut a section out the alloy, destroyed it lol. i got a spare so i have a set of 4. didn't make it to the show with the car and got there at 2pm on sunday so didn't manage to catch any one in the volvos but did watch you up the strip! not bad in the 15's 340pw
the show seemed quiet compared to last year but was good up the strip- that drag jimny was mental! :lol: :lol:

an hour with a grinder and cutting disc + hammer and chisel off at last.

so now its level all round with 4 matching wheels :lol:

only problem is the old lock nuts are on the rears and i need to get those off! they are the original lock nuts so would i be able to get the adapter from a volvo main dealer?

Nice wheel vandalism dude.

Like the Superlights too. 13s always look better on larger profile tyres. Think 300s are the only car you can say that of. :wink:

They also make the ride less harsh, you don't feel like your going to break your wrists when you hit a pothole :lol:

yeah i agree with the larger profile tyres, the fronts have a few thousand k's left so a good excuse to get 55's or 60's on and swap with the back wheels.

try halfords, I had a set and Im sure they were in a halfords box BUT i'd like to think each key is different so you may have problems

also how low are you on the front? 3inches? and 2 on the back?
