X2 to that idea, if you can get the welder in there that will be your best bet.
Just a tought, your wheels aren't too small, your tyres are

ah its beyond the point of welding now! but i couldn't if i tried anyway! its one of the deep narrow holes you can just get the socket down . i'm taking it to work where i have access to various tools to cut the wheel off! only option now! it bloody deserves it!

Did you make it to the pod in the end? Might have even talked to you (spoke to too many random new people yesterday!)
Oh also if this ever happens to you and you want to keep the wheels - don't despair too much. I'm currently in that situation and it can be done by destroying the hub instead

the wheel i destroyed
an hour with a grinder and cutting disc + hammer and chisel off at last.
so now its level all round with 4 matching wheels
only problem is the old lock nuts are on the rears and i need to get those off! they are the original lock nuts so would i be able to get the adapter from a volvo main dealer?

As Darth Vader looks on......^
Nice wheel vandalism dude.
Like the Superlights too. 13s always look better on larger profile tyres. Think 300s are the only car you can say that of.

X2
They also make the ride less harsh, you don't feel like your going to break your wrists when you hit a pothole

yeah i agree with the larger profile tyres, the fronts have a few thousand k's left so a good excuse to get 55's or 60's on and swap with the back wheels.
