A mate used to have an E30 which sounds very similar to your brothers one...absolutely gorgeous! Sadly it got written off :(

Ryan's car...well it's awaiting the new engine. I wanna say yes, as it's still reasonably early in the year, and the parts stash looks healthy...but it depends on how the next few months go once it gets warmer and lighter in the evenings. We have a lot to do, what with one thing and another. The C70 shell hasn't been gone a week yet, and there's still a *lot* of crap in the garage...primarily a T5 engine and box, and a pair of car capsules!

On top of all that, I need to get both the 1980 345 and V70R fixed up and sold, then look at putting the B230FK in the 360 (there...I said it)...not to mention putting the finishing touches to the 1981 343 and getting it MOT'd...oh, and buying a new daily driver. Then there's the work to be done on the house. No rest for the wicked...!

cheers

This is 43MPH area, 70kph that is, which probably is same as you 40 area :

General limit is 80kph, but I think they will lower that to 70kph, at least several years such claims have been around. That is in use in gravel roads, where you still can actually drive with your own judgement

49.7MPH that is 80kph, which is your 50 area, actually it jumps up and down 100 80 100 there so I'm not 100% sure if that exact spot was 80 or 100, my firefox crashes if I push arrows to move around in street view:

I remember someone who did 105 on a particularly steep downhill section of the A66 into Penrith in a '77 Mk 1 vario in the 1990's  (allegedly). The glovebox flew open with the vibration
