If you like citroen, you got to have one of those:

Black preferably, but this suits aswell. When you got this one with the 2,5 turbo, it goes from 0 to 60 in 8,5 sec and will do 140mph! Make sure you have a big wallet though.
Leather, leccy windows and mirrors, snowcap, foglights, open air filter, black roof upholstery. What more do you want? >a 2.3 turbo!

The Mopar (Dodge) Hemi engine was 426 cubic inches. The 440 was the biggest engine in the charger range but the 426 Hemi was more powerful. 400+ horsepower straight out of the factory! Now very rare and worth mega bucks.

Sorry to be so pedantic, I'll shut up now...

One hell of a car though and I'd like one too! One of my mates has an immaculate '68 with the 383 engine - beautiful!

Sorry, this is nothing to do with 300s, nor even Volvos, but it has just given me a good laugh:

Dash it. I'm so tempted to get another Deux Chevaux for Mrs Cornholio

If you can find one of those, I strongly recommend that you buy it. That car will be worth a lot, in good condition ofcourse. There are some fugazi's around so don't be fooled.

My first car was a 1990 Seat Marbella, (Fiat Panda clone), so dodgy and fun
at the same time . Then after 6 months I got my 1985 360 GLS when I
was still 17! What a difference  Now onto my third car, the 1984
GLS. Also got a couple year old 100cc 4 stroke honda scooter for town use,
100-120mpg is great  Should get a proper bike when I'm 21 :)

you know the reason why they put another engine in the boot? they couldnt make one powerful enough for the 4wd system, that would still fit under the bonnet.

They put two engines in because it's more cheap to make. With a 4x4 shaft they would've had to redesign the whole undercarriage. The rear engine is ecxactly the same as the one in the front. The difficult part was to make the two engines work together without having one producing more power than the other one.

That was the problem they had when the built the mini twini. It was crashed on the first test drive :?
There is also someone who has built a golf twin engined who does a bit of drag racing with it. He seems to think the balace between the engines is not so critical.
A project for the brave

Was there ever a 300 4x4 built? Like a prototype or something? The rallycars in those days all had rearwheel drive, except for audi.

As you might have suspected I'm more a citroen man then a volvo man. 4 Years ago someone in my class bought a 360. I thought it was buttugly. His father races those things on Zandvoort so this 360 was also a little souped up. 135bhp souped up. the firt time I drove it I went mad, a week later I had my own 360. A white saloon on LPG which had maybe 100bhp left of the original 115. Then came the BX, which was the bomb. Luckily I didn't kill me in that thing. A shame citroen put the handbrake on the front wheels though. That BX eats 360's for breakfast! But the rearwheel drive got me back into a 360.
