:( I could have had a reverse cylinder head motor with the ITB's and SCCR box too but I'd have to be made of gold lol

At last, a worthy update lol. BIG THANKS to Filthy John for helping me no end (both with the actual car and providing a place to work) I owe you one mate 340pw

Here's a few updated pics of the 360. Dropped it 2" with the help of John on Saturday. Sits much better now, no question. Also feels a lot more responsive to drive and when having a play not so much of the momentum gets sucked up by the comedy body roll.
As a mate pointed out, it feels more like a modern car now. Not bad for 8 quid for the blocks and an intervention from the 4" grinder lol

2 coils lopped off, just to have it sitting even and keep the spring captive when jacked up.

Dremmel to the rescue. Taking a bit off so the blocks fit the spring platform/shackle things. A master craftsman at work

Shit pics ahoy. Cheap cam and/or oily hands innit.

Here's a couple more from a previous weekend. I went looking for the dodgy 'Banksy' graf in Newcastle. I brought my 1000D out to get a better idea of how it works. Some turned out OK IMO for me shaking like Michael J Fox in Siberia and having no tripod. Excuse the ghey hat 'arty' shots - just practicing with depth of field

Once again John. Thanks a lot mate. Was easy eh  Wellers painted next me thinks :D

*Primera shall get it's own thread (if that's OK) as I took the plunge and am going BTCC inspired at last :D

Looks much better lowered, nice tidy GLS!

Be weary of that front strut, it looks very rusty and the strut cups have a habit of rusting and breaking around the weld

Cheers Steve 340pw

The strut isn't as bad as the pic makes out, it's not crumbling away Ford stylee  I am looking to replace them though, we had a look and thought they've seen better days too!

Thanks for the warning matey :D

Cheers gents :D

Yeah Ben. the LOLVO badge gets some good laughs and equally odd looks lol. I really want DEG. in the same colour and font as GLS.
I'm sure the brains on here can guess what that's for

I'm hoping I can resist the pull of the suede mate, so that the only time it's in the 60 is when it's being taken back home...but I dunno if I'm strong enough

Can't wait to see your car man 340pw Aside from Johns vast and impressive collection the last time I seen a V 300 was only Only Fools I reckon

Sorry Garth, never noticed anyone had replied on here mate. it's plodding along nicely dude. Thanks 340pw Been treating a few scabs of rust and picked up some wheels for it at the weekend. Sick of being outbid on ML's/Alley cats/Starmags etc etc.

Found some 14x6 Speedlines locally with new tyres. Albeit 205/60's

I plan to paint the rims and bin the tyres shortly. Probably stretch some 185/50's onto them. Needed something though, as the original 13's were all bald lol.

Still just a stop gap to some 13x7's though.

Here's a couple of tiny pics (phone memory full) Excuse the mk3 rear lights (See wanted section lol)

Don't know if you can see here, but I now have a nice new dent in the wing where we had to pick it up to fit the guys trolley jack under - my low entry one was with my dad. :(
Image
Baloons! They don't look so bad unless you focus just on the wheel/tyre as I have here IMO lol.
Image
Same wheels here, look a lot better when you can see some dish
