A six dial dash I posted to Figgy in Australia just arrived. It took 10 weeks
Beat that
I just thought I'd let you know what it looks like in it's new home and if photobucket ever gets it act together I'll post some pics!

Yes!
Thats absolutley class.
Makes me want to whirl a mouse on a string and whatnot.
Wonder where my nearest bird of prey centre is.........
I feel a recruitment drive comin on.
Redline, youre in charge of staff training.
I'll source you an apropriate tabbard and name badge.

Re: Royal Mail
ah those were the days
a quarter pound of barely cooked bovine , a lump of lidl processed cheese , damp soggy lettuce , and a bit of gherkin you need a microscope to find ,all wrapped up in as two day old sesame seed cob .
No I never worked there,Mind you its fair to say until recently I only did jobs people hated you for, so there is some similarity
I still miss the good old days of the Wimpy bar , they were so much better

Re: Royal Mail
I remeber going to wimpy as a nipper and being made to eat a burger in a bun off a real plate with a knife and fork!
What kind of perversion is that?
Got a paper hat and a balloon on a stick mind. So it wasnt all bad news.

I still hit the wimpy like, I love its old school charm, and the fact that its burgers aren't technically that good. I'm just a sucka for the underdog.

If you completely loose your mind and decide to visit in Finland some day, try Hesburger, it has best beef from cheapo places. But if you would like to get bit different from standard burger, try Hotel Kajanus restaurant at Kajaani, that beef is just something words can't describe, I really can't imagine how beef could be made any better than that, it almost melts in mouth
Of course it is not cheap place, but as I stay so much on Scandic hotels over a year they give me little daily coupons from hotel so I actually eat free when staying there.
Another tip, book room with sauna from there, nothing better than get to sauna after hard day of work, then to down with elevator and get good dinner at restaurant
So who needed those snow caps?

Re: Royal Mail
i didnt know there was any left open.
I propose a national meet at whichever wimpy bar johns talking about.
Support the underdog national rally.
Paper hats and balloons on sticks for everyone.
And its a six burger minimum, so no lightwieghts.

I believe everyone else is enough sane to stay enough far from here at summer, winter time is at least semi understandable, but at summer I can't really see reason to be here, except midnight sun and about thousand lakesvolvosneverdie wrote:Anybody fancy a run to finland in the summer?
They have tasty burgers.
