Right, I guess I'll start with a bang! (literally)
Add this vehicle (I'm in an old PC account so thought I'd rock a library pic. lol)

To this vehicle
then mix in a touch of the former rolling down a sloped back street taking in a distance of about two car lengths and coming to rest a bit too close to the latter and the result is:
Volvo: (no pics really)
1 broken headlamp
1 broken RR shaped grille lol
Range Rover:
1 dented and gouged rear bumper. Cheers glass lights(!)
I wouldn't care, I normally leave the car in gear too!

It turns out I have a weeping wheel cylinder which may account for some of this, althought that shouldn't have any connection to the ratchet mechanisim of the handbrake lever. I'm just thankful I hadn't parked in front, as my disclock was on and the car would have rolled to the bottom of the street and the consequences don't bare thinking about tbh!
Luckily for me, the RR is my mate Marks and he was spot on about it. I am going to pay to have the bumper repaired though of course, just waiting for him to decide when as he is going to have some stone chips etc touched in at the same time.
I was actually sitting in the RR with Mark grabbing a bite to eat and watching TV after a visit to the scrap yard when the Volvo decided it wanted to play.
I text Ben and he told me there was a 340 in a local scrappers, so off I went. £20 later I had a nice headlamp, some OEM door 'pods' and both sides of the plastic wannabe chrome gutter trim, which is in VGC. it wants to be after I farted on removing it! lol Oh yeah, I also have some of the moulded floor mats, so now I'm just like everybody else.
Fixed mine the next day and made another open grille. I went a different way about it this time though, so as to retain the original mounting points (and keep it sitting forward in the correct place.) Just a quick job. I will perfect it at a later date.
Not for me

Better.
Obligatory pics of scrapyard booty
Then later in the day I was pulled over by a local guy who has a 340. It is caged, F7P, -3", hyd h/brake, fuel cell, x6 Weller Circuits etc and he wants to sell it. (Reason for stopping me)
If anyone is interested let me know. He is on this forum too, somewhere.
Whilst we were talking he mentioned he had some Superlite style wheels if I wanted them. I did. Spares FTW.

and a couple pics next to the spare from my current set for comaprison.

As you can see, they has m0ar dish

13" I'm not sure on the ET yet but it's nice and low. 4x100 PCD and 7J. Very light too.
I am thinking of reconditioning these ones in matt black with no polished lip. I'll have a think.
Max respect for the condition he has left the tyres in!

If you read this, thanks again Steve. A top bloke.
