If you have oil in intercooler or something like that? But if there was oil in compressor housing it surely has come from current turbo so anything else is less likely, imo.

Oh yes, it was bit complicated in B200E indeed, breather hose connects to aux air valve and throttle plate case too if I don't recall it wrong, you will get bit higher idle because of disconnecting those hoses and probably need to adjust that black knob in throttle plate case too, hmm, but I wonder how aux air valve is now connected as you have turbo, bit complicated without seeing indeed.

Woohoo indeed! Wasn't that just a team effort. Idea from a few days ago, put back into our minds and reinforced by Stavros, details from Andy, myself and Jani, and expertly spannered by Ali :D

cheers

Congrats! :D

It seem to be usually something really small that solves issues, like my carb troubles, making hole 0.1mm larger and car is so nice now that I have spend all my moneys driving and have nothing left for food

I believe we see some new fantastic drift videos next week? :P

I'm hoping to get along to wheels again for a test session in the dry, see what it'll do. Really need to sort out the wideband first though, it keeps dropping voltage I think :( Other than that though everything else appears to be fixed :D

Nice one Ali, glad it was something so easy to sort out.

Awesome, finally can make the most of the car! 8)

the moment i remembered you converted a non turbo engine the breathers was the most obvious problem, you was pressurising the crankcase pushing oil past the rings.

even breathers on turbo cars totally suck, they for emissions reasons only, ie so you not dumping oil onto the floor or in a pot, and are crap in performance terms.

Really? Where on the thread is that? I mustve missed that one.
I just looked back and cant spot it? Just the bit earlier i posted telling him what the problem is, then obv the helpful diagram from you to show him what pipe i meant.

Shame im not a bit closer, idve realised if i saw the car in minutes.

Oh well, sorted now, time for fun!

If you really want to bicker about who suggested it then may I just point out that I suggested it was either breather or turbo last week via IM.

'tis true, although it took Foggy to explain what the difference was between the setups for the answer to leap out.
