Now I am begining to post I thought it about time to include a few pics of "300s I have known"
1. My own 340 - an '84'GL B14 5speed manual model with (over the years) the following:-
GLE alloys,
'87' heater (to give air re-circulation),
front panel with fog lamps,
spot lamps (volvo accessory) or at various times a Hella grill with spots built in,
'90' rear lamp clusters,
'86' on rear spoiler,
MTS radio/ x4 speakers,
auxilliary panel with oil pressure and voltmeter gauges,
vacuum, ambient air temp., and rev counter in dash, (converted to 86on instruments needing
new speedo cable, engine temp sensor, and fuel tank (senders different)).
air assist rear dampers with boot mounted compressor,
alarm/immobiliser,

In second pic it's running steel wheels with factoty accessory trims.
2. The same car running experimental Michelin TRX wheels/tyres - metric sized (about 14.5 x 7 ins.)

3. My '84' 360, my '84' 340' and right at the front my co.car - 340 1.7
(some years ago now)

4. Company 340 '88' My '84' behind.

5. The '84' in a Suffolk winter.

6. My old workshop at the import centre in Ipswich (closed in '94')

7. A restored 'Carioca' with a flock of 300s behind.

8. They didn't even go on the road ! - Damaged in transit (taken in '88')

9. The wifes car (I drive it)

10. My current car (the wife drives it)

11. 440 inside - only included as the aux gauges used to be in the aux panel in my 340 and go transferred over in a homemade panel - tenuous 300 link but there.

Now you know a little more about Mac.
