No dude, theyre rubbing at the BACK sidewall. Theres litterally not enough room in the tub for them. Id have to un-lower it, put spacers on, buy longer bolts, put narrower less tall tyres on AND pull the arches............ So theyre on ebay.

This auction isnt even funny....

Thats what I cant work out. As Gtis also have 15x6.5 speedlines. And mine are only 14s.
I think the GTis have different hubs / rear suspension maybe? as the fronts are fine on mine.
Really not sure though...

It will be wasted effort, it is a french, it will leak, even if you fix the leak it will start again after few weeks, if there is anything common to crappy fwd Fords and crappy fwd french things, it is leaking of oils.

Nightmare Ben. I dunno about the shells being different, but I know for 100% certainty that the rear quarters are.

When we restored my mates GTi we welded in a section of quarter from a lower spec model to replace an accident damaged panel, and the arch needed reprofiling to match the other side.

How about getting some banded steels made up with the moneys you sell the alloys for?

looks great!

Its rubbing on the insides? I have 2x 3mm spacers that might cure it?

Un-lowering would be a pain as its tortion bar at the back isn't it?

EDIT: oops missed a page lol

Also try spray insides of headlamps black (or yellow :D )

Thats a shame they are rubbing, they look alright. Like you say you do have some pony luck with your wheel choices.

Are Paxo's the same PCD as these? I think some Vtr/s rims would look quite good on that.

yeah! all the 4 stud Ford wheel's should fit as well as the Paxo's, but surely the easiest & cheapest thing to do would be to get 2 smaller profile tyre's for the 2 back wheel's as those pepperpots really suit well, the tyre's are good on them so just bring em to tyre place and ask to swap them (4 smaller side wall profile's), they'll just re-sell your tyre's to someone else as part worn's.
Everyone is a winner.

Does' some ford ka's have 4 stud minilite kinda copy alloy's could look kinda awesome on that 205 (just a personal thought).
