Well, not every second, but maybe every fourth, there are just too many of them on our roads :x

Actually it depends a lot from area, eastern part of Finland is lorry populated area as ship brings stuff to southern Finland, then lorries transfer it to mother Russia. Second reason why there are so many lorries is that our railroads are not used to transfer goods, only some large industrial stuff, but almost all goods are transferred with lorries that then are blocking roads.

Narrow roads, lot of trees and too many trucks.

Our railroads do lack of coverage and also they are used in such way that there are some points where you can't travel too well even there are tracks.

But all those trucks going to Russia, I think they should be packed to train in first location where possible, you see all trucks you did see on that video were going to Russia, there are sometimes over 40km long queue of trucks waiting to cross border.

Record length is 60km of trucks (that is bumper to bumper), it takes several days to trucker get other side of border, no shower, no bathroom, even food is hard to source, you can't leave truck and if you leave queue then you need to start all over again, nobody likes from situation.

Problem is that Russian customs office works very slowly, when some russian VIP visits there are almost no problems, but rest of time it is veery slow, that is at least what we have been told, maybe story is different at Russia's side.

There is a ports also in Russia, I don't know why they don't ship stuff there, costs to our roads is quite heavy, also it has caused some bad accidents, so I would really like to see that traffic to be put on rails or ship.

Oh yes, mostly cargo is new cars
