Ok... a rover wont turn over - it's in french and BTW this is from AllExperts, (the one I do for free) so not for profit.
Can you translate this fault description for me?
Come on, it's some french lady who's been ripped off with a rover - anyone want some good karma?
bonjour j'ai acheté une rover 75 il y a 1 mois et là elle est en panne depuis une semaine elle ne demarre plus au debut on entend le demarreur qui essaye de demarrer et a force d'essayer plus rien ca fait clic clic les phares clignotent et plus rien c'est une rover 75 annee 2001 2.0 cdt qu'en pensez-vous je suis perdue de plus je n'ai pas le manuel constructeur merci de me repondre car je suis un peu decue je l'ai depuis un mois et deja en panne

Sounds like dead battery to me, at least what I did see when I did put that to Google translate...

yeah, I'm thinking alternator/battery/battery leads and have said to check in reverse order.
Just trying to get a better translation.

it seems obvious enough. the battery needs charging, OR the starter needs hitting with a hammer as it could be a stuck solenoid.
