took a minute to figure out if the link would work... the aim was efficiency.

I suppose the drifters could take a leaf out of my book. stop fooking 300's up!

Ahhh... cut,paste, repeat- a lot.

I do think theres a possibility his camera is just "shit"... not taken them blurry on purpose, that engine bay keeps looks sound to me... might try to enhance that pic a bit..

Impulse buy.. Could be nakkerd, could be a straight motor.. it;s an xj40, sovereign, 3.6 auto, 1989, stated to have NO body damage or scratches, repeatedly stated, I think it went for less than it's money -

If he doesnt cough up the goods for £460 or whatever it was, can I sue him  ... I'm worried he let it go for too little and is getting cold feet....... no reply to messages yet, will phone him... fingers crossed.

Looks great for a sub 500 quid car man. Good catch.
Fingers crossed it's healthy and he parts with it.

that looks like a very good purchase at that price, some wheels, a hit with the stick and tints for extra mafia points and youre onto a winner :D

Hmmm... I dont want to modify, not really, but I might.
Maybe lightly restore and get another mot on it... keep hold till it fetches more money - even store it if its good enough.
Its VERY well equipped, it's got everything from A/C to electric seats.. nice slice of capitalism before it [capitalism] dies

Ha, I;ve heard as little as 18MPG  , But I have seen as high as 33MPG... just how you drive it, theyre known for giving some pretty good economy on a long run if properly maintained and the right tyres.. TBH I don't care about economy in this, worth the extra for the comfort alone 8)

Looks like I'l end up paying £500-£550, he was a bit "disappointed" with the price, and has no legal obligation to sell (I checked it out) - so offered an extra ton and whooptidoo, pick it up on friday sm95
