So how is it in current state of affairs at your place, are you allowed to have air pressure operated tools for throwing small lead objects trough cardboard?

I don't know extend of safety and nannying too well around the world, but some stuff I have heard they banned some years ago, however I would guess that air operated ones would be free still?

Rarely I get inspiration, but every now and then I put holes to carboard with Daisy Powerline 717 which is rather heavy, long barrel and adjustable sighted tool that has served me for more than 10 years, I haven't done anything to it just shooted, don't know if I should do something for it so it could serve me even longer.

Was thinking, if there are others having same sort of interests, that what about we put our weekly best result up here with help of camera so we can see how that one or two 'escapes' and have little great time even living around the world, wouldn't that make great community activity for summer?

So rules would be that punching holes would be commenced from distance of 10 meters, indoor or outdoor which ever is possible for you, 5 shots / cardboard, if you miss cardboard then there can be only 4 hits on cardboard and so on.

Punch as many cardboards as you like/can/afford and by end of the week post your photo of punctured cardboard here, we could try for let's say 3 rounds first how it goes, then we might put bit longer series up.

If laws do not permit that, then one can use darts and dartboard like this with distance of 5 meters and 5 darts allowed

If one is preferring archery, then I don't know, isn't scoring different in archery? Could that be made relatively similarly challenging and would relatively similar result be possible from some distance? I don't know much of archery, but I wish to learn at some point.

Oh and where do we start a week, Sunday or Monday?

So that kind of idea, hope to see as many as possible to join for added fun and laughs :D

Bit quiet here, so I post my result already. Kind of forgot that my boards are labeled up to 12, however I just ignore 1 and 2 and start counting 1 from 3 so 12 is really 10:
Image

So results are:
7
8
9
9
7
Equals to 40 points, do you agree?

I count if line is broken that it is on next number area, so there one shot being inside 10 ring is actually cutting 11 ring so I count that as 9 points, then one that is very close to 12 bullseye, there is tiny amount of black between 12 and 11, so I count that as being 11 so it is 9 points.

I used my indoor track, no support and standing position.

As you can see, I'm not very good, too much hand shaking, but I guess there is then room for improvement and it will not be boring

Oh target size, it is around size of my palm, tad bigger, haven't really measured, but fits to standard support frame.

So hoping to see some form of results from you, let it be throwing darts or anything comparable, just some easy fun

Poor lad, not having even a set of darts and board really is not right, man needs something like that to play with, just to keep his mind together

Anyway I sense some borrowing and testing will occur

No, you can't have that kid too, he is too good shot, would be better than any one on this board, probably descent of Robin Hood

If that is not your thing, how about  :

I found that if anyone likes to start a hobby, it is not too expensive, of course cheapest is perhaps not the best, but just cheap:

For cheaper way here darts + board from petrol station is around 2€, probably similar can be found from Tesco there or whatever shops there sells such summer holiday stuff.

I'm pretty good with an air rifle, I've been known to hit targets reliably firing from the hip :D Not got one though, I think I've got an MP5 airsoft gun somewhere. Saying that it'll be useless come the revolution

Ouch, bad word, now they tagged us  Echelon, echelon, this is v3m, do you copy? What, me paranoid? Neever

If your airsoft can pierce paper with some accuracy, then you have tools for the game too :D

Cool, in game only 5 shots allowed in one board, boards with missing center part are not legal in game

I did some reading, this tool which I have (Daisy 717 is claimed to be making 14mm stack (uhm, maybe correct word? area where in all shots hit at 10 meters) if one is experienced, however I think closest I can do is perhaps 14mm, but it is fun ever the less. I'm shooting as badly if not even worse with Chinese air rifle that has a scope, that is from same distance, that is my level of skill, or better lack of :D

What I like in this game is that it is not so much about gear, but how you can compete with yourself, also via net it is possible to have weird multiformgame with different gear as challenge is same and scoring is easy to at least adjust to same.

not really marksmanship but we have kindof an fly and bug epedemic arount our village; so i bought a bb gun and shoot the round lead balls of hail rounds that you'd normally use in a shotgun at them. manage to hit a few today; quite fun actually.

http://www.volvo300mania.com/forum-uk/ ... 25#p127325 And you think you have a problem

Well, I announce round 2 to be started as of now, must go practise a bit to get decent results as last time I did use two hand grip, but I have now doing things exactly like in Olympic rules so I'm not getting anywhere near the accuracy (or actually lack of) that I had, but at least I'm ready to enter Olympics if needs to be
