MOT Passed....

Post by Ian Mac » 27 Jul 2010 04:46 pm

My 340 passed its MOT test today with just minor asjustment of the carb to bring down the emissions, and no advisories.

When the tester saw the condition of the underside he said it was more like doing a PDI on a new car! Praise indeed :D

Hi mate.
Well done. My 1983 GLS goes tomorrow night, although its a little harder here.
They just do not want old cars on the road.
Cheers Mark. sm4

Take the air filter out for the mot, helps a great deal with the emissions levels.
Good news on the MOT Ian, and good luck mark.

Well done on your passed MOT!

The idle speed was a tad high when I brought my 343 in for its test, the tester said "turn on the lights, the rear window heater and the radio. Hey, perfect!" And that's in über-correct Germany ;-) Everything was going fine, until he saw the front springs
