My 340 passed its MOT test today with just minor asjustment of the carb to bring down the emissions, and no advisories.

When the tester saw the condition of the underside he said it was more like doing a PDI on a new car! Praise indeed

They just do not want old cars on the road.

The idle speed was a tad high when I brought my 343 in for its test, the tester said "turn on the lights, the rear window heater and the radio. Hey, perfect!" And that's in über-correct Germany Everything was going fine, until he saw the front springs
