Black inner works often, but wheel bolts need to be chrome to make it look really good, all black gives cheap look, also chrome lip would help too.

I'm bit two minds what to do with center cap, kind of tend to lean towards it being chrome too, but I guess that is bit about sizes too, small wheels and big center cap is perhaps better black when bolts are chrome.

You can see how chrome lip brings up black center nicely, when chrome bolts are used those make nice contrast at center.

Gold + chrome lip works too, just bit bling, in my opionion.

The gold ones or picture 4 I'd fancy. Personally I don't like minilites on a 300, the cars are too angular for the style of wheel. Just my opinion of course.

Gold can work on black car for sure, black, gold + chrome is classic combination, I wonder what chrome lip would do there, might work, I think it needs something more than just gold even car is black, outer edge of rim looks bit cheap, imo?

Anyway my opionion must be taken with certain reservation, I eat Christmas cookies with cheese and sausages

Have a look at these:

ATS Classics in 15x7
Mim 15x7 multispokes (fitted to E30 BMW's)
Ronal Turbo's
Ronal LS's
Intra alloys (usually ebay.de)
VW G60 steelies
Zender Sports
E30 BBS 15's

All of the above should be period enough to pull it off :) I'd pick an offset between 25-35 for the best look.

Luckily that costs only bit of time :D

Ignore again wheel style, but this is one with gold + chrome combo:

Black wheel bolts for that might add some nice contrast again.

Hi mate.
Picture No 4.
The motor looks pretty cool on them.
Mk3 300s can look pretty good with some modern kit.
Cheers Mark. sm4

Youll need pcd variance nuts and youll need a lager profile rubber if you dont want to look like a roller boot. :P

excuse my lack of knowledge but your saying the mini wheels would fit with the pcd nuts? if so how does that work?

Ripped from a thread on RetroRides:

Wobble Bolts

Ebay linky

Image

Ha this old gem. Il start by saying one thing, Wobble bolts are absolutely fine so long as you have centre location!

Also known as ‘PCD adjusting bolts’ or ‘Shift bolts’ they are very simple in concept. You have an insert that sits in the wheel seat with an oversized hole in it. A bolt then goes though the hole and because it is slightly oversize the bolt is free to move side to side slightly and compensate for a slight difference in PCD. It effectively does away with the seat and turns your wheels into wheels that use sleeve nuts!

Make sure you have the wheel centred.
Check regularly that theyre tight.

Hope that helps.

Any excuse to pimp mine and i'm there

I'm running Mini fitment wheels with wobble bolts on mine, and to be (possibly) over cautious i also got a local machine shop to make me some ally spigot rings.
I've never had a problem with them in a year and a half.

I prefer bigger profile tyres aswell, the smaller ones make the gearing too low in my opinion, but if you want to go skidding maybe it's better for that? You also need to really slam it on the deck to pull of the elastic band look, but one draw back is you visually loose the dish with bigger tyres.

Here's mine pre-lowered after after i buggered a tyre forcing me to buy anything i could get to fit from the scrappy, this shows the difference in profile.

Or Allycats

Go on you know you want to. No need for a Photoshop, here's a saloon someone made earlier :D

How about some TSW Hockenheims?

Or for the rather expensive win some Schmidt Modern Line's or for less and similar Revolution RFX's.
