hi guys, quite urgent really:
with my new car being a 4 speed (boo, hiss) i need to swap the 5 speed into it from my other 340.. problem is my old car will be at college during half term so i need to take the box off aand take it home with me, problem is we only have 4 hours tomorrow spare to do it, reckon its possible to remove a gearbox from a 1990 340 in that time?

thanks alot :D

4 hours? Just to remove it yeah that'd be no problem.

If you mean remove and fit a new one... You'll be very hard pushed unless you break out the spot lights and work through the night? I think it's possible in about 6 hours. You WILL need a decent trolley jack though and a largish sheet of wood.

(some people could do it in 4 hours but some people are just too god-damn good  )
