I am thinking of selling my E-Reg 340GL 1.4 in August when the tax and MOT run out. What I want to know is how much it would be worth if I put a years MOT on it before I sold it since I know with no MOT or Tax its not of any value.

without mot i think you'd be lucky to get £50, with an mot you can look at 250 i would say, but its very conditino dependant.

I'm trying to downsize since its only me and the Mrs and I want a secure soft-top sports car and the MR2 has best of both worlds small fast and you can remove the glass roof when you want and put back in to make it secure again. But it will mean come August my 340GL will be up for grabs to anyone who's after it

True... the 360 is not the most fuel friendly car around...
Then take the MR2 from 1994 to 2000 with the 170 BHP engine...

Sorry dont like the Mk2 tubbys not as much a drivers car as the Mk1. Beside i still think the Mk2 looks to much like a ford probe.

Fair enough. Mk2's with turbo are frightenly quick in straight lines but far too common for my likeing. Mk1 only 1.6 but far more fun handling since ALOT lighter.
