Surely I am not the only one thinking that looks horrendous? I'm not gonna lose sleep over a 12 door 1400 340 in a state, but you can't think that looked good?!

Unless it was done for a laugh?

I knew it wouldn't just be me thinking it mate. lol I have never seen a barried up 300 in person, just on those Youtube efforts full of stills with some Ramstein etc over the top that people post up.

Aye, losing Max is no big thing now, but they paved the way for a lot of famous motors back from when the mag started in 93? up until the turn of the century. I only bought it and Revs/Fast Car etc during my secondary school years though.

As I'm a big Nova fan, a lot of my favourite cars were featured in that rag.

R.I.P Maxy P!

As for specials car. My apologies if I offended you. No doubt you wouldn't care for mine either. Each to their own and all that. 340pw

Think if youre building/modding a car, you dont do it for anyone but yourself.
If the owners happy with it, cool beans.

Ive never bothered much if people havnt cared for my stickered up efforts anyway.

im not going to try to justify what i did to my 340 but as has been pointed out each to there own
(plus im trying to get out of changing a particulary nasty nappy lol)

I never actually set out to modify my 340 ....totally the oposite really i bought the car to stop my modifying cos there was nothing available for it lol
the paint work on the front came about one day when i was filling the front end of the car and knew i would not be able to match the paint very well so i went with a completly different colour and ended up with the stripping as an efective way of there not being such an obvious big block of silver across the front end of the car .....alloys were giving to me ...just some random bloke pulled up and asked me if i wanted them (he was going to throw them otherwise )
the spolier was originaly bought for my ford orion .....but i never dared to fit it to the orion
the arches were from a vw golf again to hide paint that i couldnt match on arches

i learned a long time ago not to be concerned about what other people think .......actually a lot of people liked the car at the time

i had actually started to get it ready for a complete colour change when i found a big rusty hole the size of my head ....and it was time for it to go ....been gone 5 years now :(
do i regret any of it ?

not at all 340pw
