What would you except, it is frenchcrap, they don't like from cold, if they start, they will soon throw up all their oil :D

It is small murder to motor each time when motor is started from cold (each cold start is wear to motor equal to 500km of driving at fully warm motor, this was conclusion from research of finnish scientific test lab, VTT is name of that lab), one should use block heater from +5C (or was it +10C?) and colder, but I guess those are only scandinavian spec car's that have one?

innit, it does have an engine preheater on it, ie 6 glow plugs into a coolant hose.

ill let the bitch stew for a bit and threaten it with a big stick then ill try again.

Some have burned their pita with setting up fire under the oilpan, with intention to heat oil before starting up, quite good method to get rid of pita or if that fails, get motor started.

Oh remember to open the bonnet before starting attempt, so your neighbourgs can enjoy from starting attempt to their fullest, that is quite common sight here, remember to look all knowing when looking into engine bay, so they do here, even they are experiencing the flat battery syndrome, often shaking HT leads while looking into engine bay

If all of above fails, then find big hill, push pita over crest of hill imagining that you can jump in when it starts to move, slip and run after car screaming like a little girl, have seen this one too, quite hilarious, however rather futile if idea behind it is to start pita.

One guy put his pita next to his house, at spring tens of tons ice from roof manage to solve problem quite swiftly and he did not need do anything to achieve this, someone even paid small sum of money to remove metal debris from yard, however in it's original form nobody was not interested from it.

Might not help, but that is what I have seen people do, I haven't experienced such trouble myself, but I do drive mostly diesels and those are fail proof if you keep arctic diesel in tank, if not, add litre of petrol and it does the trick...

Those probably will not help much unless you somehow restrict outside air to move freely, cardboard etc will help, with heatgun you could get some amount of heat to block.

If it is diesel, then often need to open up fuel filter, warm filter to get goo off and then with petrol + heater need to warm up and made liquid again diesel in pipes etc. Problem with diesel is that it will become goo in cold, with petrol motor things are bit easier, just put start pilot or similar into it while cranking, it should explode to running, or just explode, however 1st one is much more common
