right, basically i've been given a real low valuation on snowey (the car that got munched by a truck) - £150 to be precise. now i've been told that to get more i'll need to proove that the car was worth more - so what i need from you people is any evidence of other 360s (preferably gle's) selling for around £500. so if any of you have copys of old adverts, ebay pages and the like, which show 360s selling for over £400, then please email them to hughlunnon@yahoo.com

I'll see what I can dig up Hugh. This is the problem with insurance companies, market value is what they use. I have tried to get an agreed value on one of my cars, but as with everything else to do with insurance, I'm too young! I can't remember if they are GLE's however I know of a 340 that is well insured at an agreed value.

I bought my 360GL for £400 a while back and I know the previous owner. I can see if I can get them to write somthing down for me if thats any use.

We had a 1980 240 written off and claimed it was a classic as the mileage was just 30k. We got £1000 for it, cost £100!

Hugh, I've got the Kar's receipt still, I know it's a 340... but a lower model.... And it is 4 years old, but there might not be a date, I'll have a look.

Hugh I know mines a 340 but I can post you a copy of the reciept for the redline it cost me £375.00 last September
