Having your cat riced up as Mustang look a like, putting Cobra text to boot and having tiny naturally aspired 4 cylinder Ford motor in Capri must be quite priceless range, imo.

I mean why not have Cologne in there?

He could got something like this:

I used to want a Ford Capri, when I was learning to drive at 17. I think at the time they had just made the last ones 10 days after my 17th birthday! I expect I wanted one because of watching the Professionals and Minder and they looked sporty :P

It was not to be....4 years later I was given a 343 as my first car and look what happened

However, I like this type of Capri much more. I would love to find one, my dad used to have a Consul Classic (saloon version).

fair comment, but that worked-over pinto is probably rapid enough, having said that, I reckon Mk1 capri's are rare enough. You could probably buy a genuine mustang cheaper...

Im affraid thats hideous and not even a big rumbling V8. Not my cup of tea, would rather have a standard looking capri with a rover V8 under the bonnet

Single carb, it hardly is very high performance motor? I mean 38/38 is not going to flow too much air into motor, that is just like 360 carb just tad bigger, even manifold is such that there probably is not very even or good mixture of fuel entering into all cylinders, that is all show, no go.

Also who is listing standard oil filter in a ad, seriously where is the point?

But I don't see point having V8 either as V6 would be lighter and there would be plenty of power to take from such too, also 2L Pinto with turbo would be another thing completely as with those looks car really should move, anything less than 250 horsies is disgrace, imo.

Still I can't quite figure out how that can cost 18 000?

Even in Finland you would get this (Mustang Mach I) and years worth of petrol for that amount of money:

edit: Also one could get 1996 SVT Cobra Mustang here for 18 000, so that puzzles me who will pay such money from ruined Capri with smallest motor you can get capri to change location with it's own power?

That would be the engine Rover found in Buick's dustbin.
SBF ftw 8)

I quite like that but Pintos are a heavy engine so needs V8 or all the good work wasted IMHO.

I wonder, what it would be if he would of put Nissan VQ35 under the bonnet?

Now it would been then pretty much like a ricer car (many ricer cars are build around to similar way, fancy paintjob, little tuning, small motor etc.) and ricer car ad, but it is no japanese car really, but then there would be Japanese motor in it, so it would be AAaaargh on so many level, but still it would have the performance to match the looks, puzzling
